Stroke survivors have a wide range of needs, as they recover. They may need medical treatment, therapy, assistive devices, home healthcare, or even a temporary stay in a nursing home. Sometimes, the cost of treatment, devices, medical care, and other forms of support/rehabilitation is prohibitive. Some families cannot afford the extra expenses. This section contains advice on how to obtain the needed funding to support the recovery or rehabilitation of survivors.
