Ellen O'Brien, vice president and comptroller, is no stranger in her efforts to help the less fortunate. Her interests have been art, design and working with people which have led to careers in Interior Design and Real Estate when living in the U.S. While living abroad, International work laws prevented her from working in India and Italy and this is where her volunteer work began in earnest. She designed handlooms and managed a handloom operation for a Rehabilitation Center for Lepers in New Delhi, India, for two years. The quality control program set in place by her led to an enormous change in behavior. It is with this belief that she continues to work for the less fortunate helping them put dignity and self esteem back into their life.
